This weekend was fucking awesome. We went to a drag show and it was AMAZING. One of the performers was a genderfuck and they were gorgeous. I gave them a dollar.
I’ll go on about this all later, but omg. I had a great time.
Ughhh… My head is killing me, and no one in particular wants to front all the way. I’m not looking forward to this baby shower thing at all. Fuck this.

Reblog if you love Jamie McCrimmon.
slythgeek:
A lot of Whovians don’t even know who he is, and that makes Jamie sad.
While he could be kind of a short-sighted dolt, especially at the most inopportune times, this motherfucker was a kilt-wearing badass who OWNED all of his mistakes. Which is a lot more than I can say for some companions.
Alex's link should work now.
I really am hoping they use it some. I was surprised they asked for one.
Edit: Okay, let’s try that AGAIN.

It’s funny… There are those here who are highly attached and ingrained in their lives and memories, and bring back new memories all the time, and are very much a part of that as it’s a part of them, and it’s all very concrete.
And then there’s like… Viv.
Viv, the former fragment, who took one look at the world and went “fuck that, I’m going to do...
Okay… here we go on blog overhaul. This should be fun. Feel like I need to do it though.
Maybe I just need to get damn near everybody their own blogs, even if they don’t use them. :\
The kids can double up too, I guess… Hmm.
What do you guys think?

I’m just glad that Emma’s finally had enough of her situation to defend herself about it. I didn’t realize how bad it was, but then of course she wouldn’t say before… she’s so private a person, and she thought she deserved everything he did to her, but god, that just isn’t true.
I’ve been really proud of her. She’s handling it so well and...

Dissociative patients do not report delusional explanations for hallucinations or FRS. Rather, they tend to experience these symptoms as inexplicable and frightening: indicators that they are ‘‘crazy.’’[85] Accordingly, they usually attempt to hide/rationalize the existence of the symptoms and may avoid disclosing them in a clinical interview due to fear and shame.[71]
In Kluft’s classic 1987...

“Some researchers have voiced concern that the DSM-IV-TR criteria for DID lack sufficient clinical utility for diagnosing the disorder. For example, following the publication of DSM-IV, Latz et al. said: ‘‘We are still uncertain as to what specific clinical criteria should be used to make the diagnosis’’[182].”

And let me just say THANK GOD they’re changing the DDs section to finally make some amount of fucking sense concurrent to actual cases.
In the revision so far (about 30 pages, I’m not quite halfway through), and in the abstract, they have proposed that DDs are likely more common than previously assumed, are formed not just through traumatic events but overwhelming events, and that...
